Presentation will be centered on recent statistics related to security and safety incidents occurring in worship venues and church related education facilities. Common solutions such as separate intrusion (burglar alarms), keyed locks and the use of standard video cameras will be discussed. Newer electronic access control systems and the resulting advantages versus common key locks will be address in terms of assigning user’s access rights and the control of off-hours access needs with managed access to the facilities and the greater need for video security will be offered during the presentation. Recent innovations in the types of cameras and placement suggestions will be provided. In addition, the newest alternative to the three distinct technologies mentioned above - a solution combining all three into a simple fully unified solution with integrated video, access control, intrusion, as well as, optional video and audio analytics and an easy true browser-based operation will be discussed.
